My flamenco journey began in 2008, when I began studying with Malita Belloso, at Calo Gitano Flamenco Dance Academy. We eventually formed a theatre company – Calo Theatre – writing, choreographing, directing and producting several original, full-length, flamenco-based musicals – “Wonderland”, “Raices”, “Once Upon A Christmas in Olelucia”, and “Suenos Andaluces”. Our shows were very successful, and our theatre is one of things I am most proud of, that I’ve ever done!
Currently, I perform around the Atlanta area, for festivals, private parties, and corporate events. Dance styles include: sevillanas, bulerias, alegrias, farruca, tarantos, jaberas, and cana.
